The Elder tree is native to hedgerows where both the flowers and fruit provide food for insects and birds. The flower heads are handpicked locally in the UK during May and June. Birch Sap Birch sap is a naturally derived ingredient, Nordic countries have a long tradition of using Birch sap to enhance healthier looking skin. Collected once a year in spring when the Birch Trees pump nourishment stored in the roots up into the buds. One tree can give up to 50 litres of sap. This method of extraction is fully sustainable and traceable and doesn't degrade the trees in the process. How to Use: Gently work the wash into damp skin, lather, and rinse thoroughly.
