Tile backer boards can be mechanically fixed to timber subfloors using screws and washers, or bonded to solid subfloors with a flexible tile adhesive. Their moisture-resistant core also helps reduce subfloor movement, creating a stable surface for tiling over underfloor heating systems.These ultra-lightweight boards can be easily cut to size or shaped around fixed appliances using a craft knife. Their strong yet light structure also makes them easy to handle and transport on-site.
