Hotpoint's award-winning recycling program includes: 1. Product Unpacking and Packaging Recycling: At the consumer's home, we unpack the product and ensure that ALL packaging materials are recycled. Our packaging is specifically designed to be 100% recyclable. At our depots, we separate the materials into four categories: polystyrene, plastic, wood, and cardboard. These materials are sent directly to our recycling partner for reintroduction into the raw material streams. 2. Weee (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Collection: We collect old products, classified as Weee, and ensure they are directed to the appropriate waste flow at our local depots. These items are then sent to government-approved Weee recycling plants. As a White Goods manufacturer, we are committed to meeting our Weee obligations and encourage our customers to participate in the most environmentally friendly recycling scheme available in the UK.
