Plant in a Box - Lipstick Plant Aeschynanthus Twister - H 20cm
34.99 GBP
The Aeschynanthus Twister is a special plant with long green tendrils that hang downwards. The leaves of the plant are curled, which is where it gets its nickname 'Twister' from. Originally, the Aeschynanthus comes from Malaysia and other areas in South-East Asia. Here Aeschynanthus means 'flowers that are ashamed'. It is not clear where this name comes from, it could be because the flowers stay hidden for a long time or because the flowers have a red colour. The flowers of the plant are tubular and reddish-orange, which makes them look very similar to lipstick. The nickname of the Aeschynanthus Twister is therefore The lipstick plant. The plant is delivered in a inner-pot with a diameter of 15cm. Decorative pot not included. Product cannot be returned.
