It is a barrel-aged rum from Barbados and South America, matured with cherry wood, fruit, and spices. Wildjac is inspired by the Wyre Forest, located above six and a half thousand acres of British oak, silver birch, and Douglas fir trees. The forest's history as a 'wildwood' is reflected in the botanicals used, including rowan, hazel, and ash among the oaks. The Wildjac Still, named 'Prudence' after a famous 'Severn Trow' cargo boat that transported botanicals and spices to the local port of Bewdley in the early 19th century, is central to the production. Wildjac sources high-quality botanicals and spices, focusing on homegrown and locally foraged ingredients from the forest, such as Douglas Fir and lemon balm from their garden.
